Meet Dr. Joshua Prentice

Dr. Joshua Prentice, originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, has been passionate about dentistry since spending time at his uncle’s dental office as a child. His early love of technology combined with his interest in healthcare led him to the University of Oklahoma, where he earned both his undergraduate degree and his Doctor of Dental Surgery. After practicing for several years in the Pacific Northwest, specifically Bend, Oregon, Dr. Prentice and his family now proudly call Flower Mound, Texas, home.

With over four years of experience utilizing cutting-edge dental technologies like Glidewell Fastmill.io, Dr. Prentice integrates advanced solutions to deliver exceptional care to his patients. His commitment to continuing education is evident in his dedication to completing an average of 150 hours of continuing education annually, ensuring his practice stays ahead of the latest innovations and treatment protocols.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Prentice is passionate about sharing his knowledge with peers, coaching dentists on the latest technological advancements in dental care, and helping them integrate these tools into their own practices.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Prentice enjoys spending time with his high school sweetheart and wife, Ashley, and their four children: Jude, Annabel, Leo, and William. Together, they enjoy traveling, exploring new places, and spending time outdoors. Dr. Prentice also loves running, photography, and staying up-to-date with the latest tech innovations. The family’s golden retriever, Cinnamon, is a beloved companion on many of their adventures.

Meet Daniel, Our Dental Assistant

Daniel brings five years of dental assisting experience to our team at Prentice Dental. With a passion for advancing his career, he aspires to become a dental hygienist in the future. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time with his three beloved dogs—Chubis, Nita, and Koda—and has a keen interest in cars. You can often catch him pulling up in his one-of-a-kind Camaro. His experience and dedication are making a positive impact at Prentice Dental. Daniel is committed to ensuring every patient has the best experience possible, and he’s continuously learning and growing alongside Dr. Prentice. We’re thrilled to have him as part of our team!

Meet Paige, Our Dental Hygienist

Meet Paige, our esteemed dental hygienist with 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from UT Health Science Center San Antonio. Since joining Prentice Dental, Paige has become a valuable team member, known for her expertise in patient education and comprehensive care. Recently relocated to the DFW area from Austin with her golden retriever, Parker James, she excels in enhancing oral health and empowering patients with the knowledge to maintain optimal hygiene.

Outside of work, Paige enjoys outdoor activities and water sports with Parker and spending time with her two nephews. Her goal is to make a lasting impact on her patients' lives through exceptional care and personalized education.

Meet Sheila, Our Front Desk Administrator

With 20 years of experience in the dental field, Sheila excels in both assisting and front desk administration, bringing expertise and professionalism to every role at Prentice Dental. Her organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional customer service make her an invaluable asset. Sheila efficiently manages front desk operations, handles client inquiries, and creates a warm, welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the patient experience.

Originally from Colorado, she moved here two years ago with her husband Niall and their dogs, Woody and Olive. Outside of work, Sheila enjoys cooking for loved ones, spending time with her grandkids, and cherishing family moments. Her vibrant and caring nature enriches her personal and professional life.

Meet Shana, Our Dental Hygienist

Shana Harding is a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 30 years of experience, specializing in both general and pediatric care at Prentice Dental. A graduate of Amarillo College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene, she is known for her ability to create a welcoming, educational environment and is dedicated to personalized care that promotes lifelong dental health.

Living in Grapevine, Shana enjoys spoiling her three grandkids, crafting, photography, and true crime series. Her warmth and expertise make her an invaluable member of the Prentice Dental team.

Meet Sheri, Our Office Manager

Sheri is a dedicated office manager here at Prentice Dental with over 8 years of experience, known for her exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. She has also worked as an office manager and executive assistant in other corporations. A proud University of Oklahoma alumna from a three-generation family, Sheri is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers and PEO, reflecting her commitment to professional growth and community service.

Outside of work, she enjoys time with her two grown children and four grandchildren, traveling, power walks, live entertainment, reading, and exploring new cuisines. Guided by strong faith, Sheri brings compassion and positivity to all she does.

Meet Gloria, Our Marketing Coordinator/Receptionist

Gloria is the dynamic Marketing Coordinator and Receptionist at Prentice Dental, blending her health sciences background with a passion for marketing to enhance the practice's visibility through innovative strategies. With 7 years of experience in both corporate and private dental settings, she brings a fresh perspective. Previously, she spent the last few years traveling across the U.S., building partnerships and brand awareness, and plans to leverage this experience to further elevate the practice.

Outside of work, Gloria enjoys outdoor adventures with her dogs, watching Korean dramas, exploring new foods, and expanding her marketing knowledge through courses and mentorship. Her dedication to professional growth and passion for marketing make her an invaluable asset to the team.
